Spring is coming

Spring is just around the corner, however today and much like the past month the weather is still gloomy, it calls for black clothes and layers upon layers. I have to be careful with layering, it can make me look huge (or huge-er) so I tend to layer more delicate pieces, I placed an American Apparel crop top under my AA black cami. I then popped on some tights and a black tube skirt from Topshop along with my AA oversized cardigan. 

 The flowers add a bit of spring, is anyone else looking forward to a new season? Or is it just me I'd like to be able to wear a few brighter colours again.          

  I feel confined to burgundy, black, nude, navy and grey at the moment. Spring is a nice transitional season and I am looking forward to wearing some brighter clothes again, but not florals. I never really liked overly floral things, some are nice yes. Some petite lilac flowers (maybe lavender) on a white tea dress with pale grey lace around the hem would be nice, does anyone else every imagine their dream clothes? I study textiles, I should probably be able to make my dream clothes but shopping is just too fun you never know what you will find and love.
